Project Manager for Scania Oskarshamn Project Office

Our project office, responsible for technical process installations, is currently looking for a colleague to join its team. Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include internally driving installation projects together with production and cross-functional groups. In the role of project manager, you are expected to be responsible for the project team and follow up on deliveries. You ensure that the timeline and budget are maintained, prepare budget forecasts, and report to the steering group and customer. The position includes collaboration with purchasing during requirement specification and procurement. You will manage external contacts with suppliers in the projects you lead.

Scania drives installation projects according to a customized project and investment model, PEIP (Production Equipment Investment Process), which is managed and developed cross-functionally to meet the business's requirements for both technical solutions and safety and work environment. As a project manager in this role, you are expected to apply this model, and with it as support, secure solutions and necessary decisions in your team and steering group.

Your Profile

To be successful in the role of project manager, we see that you are focused and work in a structured manner. You have an easy time collaborating and communicating as the team works with many contacts and different groups. You drive your work independently to achieve set goals. Furthermore, you have an encouraging social ability that allows you to positively lead others. You are a skilled communicator with the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written form in Swedish and English.

We are looking for someone who is a civil or engineering graduate with a technical focus or has documented equivalent experience. You have experience in project management and good computer skills. Since this role will primarily work with process installations and the development of our painting department, experience from the painting process is an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours

The position is a permanent full-time employment.
